The first of The ita Residences is under construction in the mountains at Lavasan, Iran (a picturesque 20 minute drive up North East of Tehran). Set for completion this summer 2011, this building embodies the ita style from the ground up with its clean modern lines, open layouts and warm materials. Lavasan is known for it’s lavish garden villas where high society Tehran residents escape from the busy city to relax and play. This is also the city where I got my first job working at an architecture firm – O&F Architects (Oveyssi & Firoozabadi) – which makes it especially interesting for us to be back in Lavasan, years later to build a project of our own.
These are some construction progress photos taken by Rambod Vahhabaghai, our brother who is the Developer of the project. We will share more photos and updates as we get even closer to completion.
